We’re Committing to Hybrid Working

According to the Office of National Statistics, of working adults currently homeworking, 85% wanted to use a “hybrid” approach of both home and office working in the future. They further discovered that when asked about homeworking, working adults stated work-life balance was the greatest positive, while challenges of collaboration were the greatest negative. ¹

Like most businesses, in March 2020 we were forced to confront lockdown and full-time remote working. However, since then we have been successfully embracing a hybrid model of work. This was made easier by our move to our first co-working space at WeWork Monument. We wanted to make sure we have a hybrid workplace that embraces and encourages flexible working. Over this period we have found that a hybrid approach creates a more collaborative environment, whilst giving our staff the flexibility to also work from home and make the most of their work-life balance.  With it being such a success, as a business we are committing to the co-working model and will be moving to a new WeWork space at 15 Bishopsgate next week.

“For us, flexible working and a hybrid model of working are complemented by a co-working space. This setup works well for our business and for our team. We are more efficient plus we get a better work-life balance. It’s a win-win for us.”

Simon Cheshire, MRG CEO

Approaching WeWork 15 Bishopsgate, you are struck by the convenience and character at this location. It strikes you as not only an office space, but a social hub, with private soundproof booths for online Teams calls, conference rooms available at the touch of a button for in-person group meetings, and communal breakout areas built into every floor.

The flexibility in our new space works better for our growing team; providing a private office space for colleagues to work from, as well as a variety of workspaces outside of the office to facilitate collaboration. The building is also located less than 5 minutes from key transportation hubs, such as Bank and Liverpool Street; as we move into the new normal, we are excited to see our in-person meetings with candidates and clients continue to grow.

The new space lends itself perfectly to visitors, so if you’d like to stop by please get in touch with your consultant to arrange a catch-up.

Want to work here? We have huge expansion plans in 2022 and are always looking for new people to come and join the MRG team. Send us an email if you’re interested in joining us in our new office.

You can find us at our new address: 15 Bishopsgate, London, EC2N 3AR
