We have recently been running a number of NED campaigns and thought that maybe we could give something back to the NHS by offering the same service on a pro-bono basis.
Like so many others I have been humbled by the work that the NHS and the wider health and social care sector has been undertaking. I’ve worked with healthcare, education and public sector organisations on recruitment campaigns over the last 15 years and the enthusiasm and commitment professionals in these sectors give on a daily basis is truly inspiring from an ‘outsider’s’ perspective.
At MRG as a company we really want to show our appreciation and make a contribution to these people and organisations, but being a 35 person SME in the recruitment/search field we clearly do not have the skills or resources to try to help in a front-line or supply chain capacity. However, we hope that what we can do is use our core skills to support the NHS on the recruitment of Non Executive Directors to board positions, and hopefully add value and save cost for the NHS in this way.
Therefore throughout May and June we would like to offer our services to the NHS to support and/or manage any recruitment campaigns to appoint to NED roles – and we would be delighted to do this on a pro-bono basis.
We can support the full recruitment campaign process including role profile and advert development, candidate brochure creation, application response handling and selection, or simply provide additional candidates to give greater depth and diversity to shortlists. We have the capacity to work on a select number of campaigns over this period.
