Sian is Head of Research within our Public Sector Estates and Facilities Management Practice and joined the business in 2011.
She is responsible for coordinating research and programming the delivery of our retained assignments.
Sian has 18 years’ recruitment experience, and started her career at a specialist recruitment consultancy in 1999. She spent over 12 years with the organisation and was responsible for managing recruitment campaigns across both the public and private sectors, specialising in the recruitment of town planning professionals at all levels.

Over 600 undergraduate and postgraduate students (including 50 PhDs) and admitted each year onto a broad range of degree courses in biological, biomedical and chemical sciences.
The School of Life Sciences is seeking to appoint a Head of Technical Services (Deputy Chief Technical Officer) to lead, shape and deliver a high-quality technical support service to meet the teaching and research objectives of the School. Working closely with the CTO you will lead, manage, support and develop a flexible team of technical staff within the School who support all aspects of teaching and research.
We are seeking an individual with proven experience and track record of managing the technical services provision across an organisation of significant scale and complexity. You will have strong leadership and management skills and will have experience of change management and transition preferably relating to a change in facilities provision.
Experience of working in an environment with similar characteristics (stakeholder groups, types of facilities and activities, operating model) to those found at the School of Life Sciences would be particularly advantageous.

Recruitment Delivery Executive
£20,000 to £25,000 per annum
The Management Recruitment Group is a boutique recruitment consultancy with a particular focus on Education. Our Public Sector Estates Management Division is widely recognised as the leading recruitment brand within Estates and Facilities Management.
We are currently seeking to appoint a Recruitment Delivery Executive on a 12-month Maternity Cover (FTC) with the strong potential of a longer term opportunity within the company. This role plays an essential part in the ongoing success of team and will be based in our Twickenham Head Office.
Reporting to the Head of Delivery you will provide support to 6 consultants who manage a wide variety of recruitment campaigns throughout higher education & independent schools. You will be actively involved throughout the process carrying out research / sourcing candidates, coordinating advertising, scheduling interviews, and maintaining our database. You will also act as the link between the team and our Marketing Manager, coordinating & proof reading all marketing material for the Team’s search campaigns.
This role would suit an individual that has as the ability to work autonomously, to tight deadlines and who has excellent attention to detail. You might be a recent graduate with an interest in developing a career in recruitment. Alternatively you may have experience within recruitment but wish to move away from a fee earning 360 role or be looking to return to the industry following a career break.
