A leading public sector organisation in Central London are looking for an Interim CHP Engineering Supervisor to assist with the delivery of maintenance to their CHP systems. The CHP Supervisor will be required to work across a diverse and technically complex estates portfolio, consisting of both old and new buildings.
This role will consist of both supervision and hands-on engineering of CHP Plant and Steam Heating Systems, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a critical environment.
The role will be offered on an initial 6-month interim period with the opportunity to apply for a permanent position.

Reporting to the Managing Director, this role will be the University’s strategic lead and custodian on the development and management of our infrastructure in respect of all planned and reactive maintenance in addition to minor works. You will take responsibility for the current and future supply of quality M&E and fabric services to meet the growing University need. You will ensure they are planned and delivered in a timely and economical manner that mitigates business risk, complies with all relevant legislation and meets industry best practice. You will be supported by a team of six which includes an Asset Manager, Project Managers, Compliance Manager and H&S Officer.
The postholder will hold a recognised engineering qualification, combined with professional membership of a relevant professional body (such as CIBSE or the IET). You will possess extensive experience in providing support and advice across a comparable vast and technically complex estate. This role will suit engineering professionals who enjoy being the ‘go to’ point of contact for all engineering guidance along with delivering effective long-term maintenance plans.

Reporting to the Head of Estates, the post holder will be responsible for the day to day management of all Facilities Management services in the Kensington Olympia site, including all aspects of hard and soft services in addition to minor works projects. You will ensure that ‘best in class’ services are delivered across this unique portfolio including the effective management of the caretaking team.
The successful candidate will possess a proven track record in the effective delivery of facilities services across a comparable diverse customer facing environment. This role will suit professionals with a high level of personal credibility with demonstrable experience of engendering a culture of exceptional service delivery. Possessing the NEBOSH General Certificate is essential.
