Matthew is experienced in delivering both permanent and interim recruitment campaigns. He has recruited a wide range of roles which include: Head of Maintenance, Engineering Manager, Technical Compliance manager, Building Services Manager.

Reporting to the Assurance Manager, the Fire Safety Assurance Support Manager will be responsible for conducting reviews of the Fire Risk Assessments across all buildings / spaces occupied by King’s College London (KCL). You will also act as custodian and manage the fire strategy technical building plans for the directorate. In addition to providing fire safety building plans for projects, you will also have oversite of fire compliance projects, such as fire door remedial, fire stopping compartmentation works and fire alarm detection replacement programmes.
The successful candidate will ideally possess a fire risk assessment qualification and membership of a relevant fire professional body. You will have a thorough knowledge of fire safety legislation, Building Regulations, British Standards and have experience in conducting Fire Risk Assessments. Demonstrable experience of risk management and fire strategy is key in conjunction with experience of providing fire safety training and toolbox talks/safety briefs to non-fire safety professionals.
This role would suit individuals currently in a similar intelligent client role within a public sector organisation such as the NHS or local government. Alternatively, fire professionals with a background in consultancy looking to move across to the client-side.
