Specialising solely in recruitment management consultancy at middle to senior and executive management level, Ben has successfully planned and executed recruitment campaigns across the higher education, scientific research, local and central government, NHS, public landmark attractions, charity and social housing sectors.
Ben has developed a strong track record of working with organisations from the above sectors over the last 10 years and since joining MRG in 2008 have managed over 300 successful recruitment campaigns in these areas. He places a particular emphasis on identifying ‘industry leading’ professionals from both the private and public sectors and work to engage and attract these individuals into education, science and public sector property leadership roles.
Ben has been a member of the MRG Management Team since 2011, a Board Director since 2014 and was appointed Deputy Managing Director from 2017.

The projects delivered are varied and will be of a multi-disciplined nature covering refurbishments and improvements of existing facilities to constructing new buildings. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Estates (Strategy & Development), the post holder will be responsible for leading the programme management and project delivery service of which is suitable, efficient, effective, customer focused and delivers value for money for the University’s estate and buildings portfolio. Key facets of the role will be to lead on the strategic development of the campus projects pipeline, understanding and capturing customer needs, preparation of business cases and feasibilities support for all projects including asset management. The post holder will also have responsibility for leading on cross divisional initiatives (cost management, governance, space) and performance standards with operational accountability.
The successful candidate will possess a relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience in a construction and property related discipline and have proven experience of strategic and operational programme management, planning and project delivery experience across comparable, technically complex estate investment programmes. Given the strong leadership requirements of the role it is expected that prospective candidates will have proven team leadership experience and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
