Meet Our Team

Our success is built on the expertise and contacts of our Directors, Managers and Senior Consultants.

Our Leadership team delivers complex and challenging Retained Search Assignments and they act as Account Directors for all of our best clients. They know the market and have good contacts in senior roles across their industry. They can advise and guide and are well placed to deliver results in a competitive, difficult and rapidly changing market. Our Consulting Team are market experts and focus on finding and attracting the best candidates in the market, delivering against demanding schedules and programmes. They work with our Key Clients across the full range of services including Search, Retained Campaigns, Permanent Recruitment and Freelance & Interim appointments.

Our Board has an average of over twenty five years’ experience in recruitment in Construction and Property, our Managers average over twelve years in their specialist fields and our Consultants average over ten years. 

We have a current team of around 40 successful recruiters working from three offices; Twickenham, Monument EC4 and Manchester.

Katherine is a CIMA Qualified Finance Director. She has worked across IT, E-Commerce, Electrical Contracting, Retail and Digital Media with a number of large groups, spanning the IT, Telecoms, E-Commerce and Building sectors. she has also worked in Practice, and has held Lead Finance roles within an award winning PE-backed Digital Agency and other businesses within the SME space.

Katherine also looks after procurement, office services, IT and HR functions within the business.

    Matthew leads MRG’s Real Estate Advisory and Project and Cost Management business units, working with a range of organisations in order to provide tailored recruitment solutions and aligned services.

    Having joined MRG in 2013 he has successfully grown both the Real Estate Advisory and Project and Cost Management teams.

    He graduated from The University of Reading and started his recruitment career as a Researcher within an executive search company progressing to the Head of Real Estate Practice. In 2009 he joined a Real Estate and Construction search business as a Principal before joining MRG.

    Matthew predominately operates at a senior level working with a number of organisations to make key strategic hires across the property industry. Being trained in a number of human capital tools, Matthew is our resident expert in the use of Thomas International, and their Psychometric Assessment Tools.

    Sian is Head of Research within our Public Sector Estates and Facilities Management Practice and joined the business in 2011.

    On their campaigns.She is responsible for coordinating research and programming the delivery of our retained assignments. Sian is also our Diversity and Inclusion Champion, creating structured policies and practices internally, but also working alongside our Customers, and advising on their campaigns.

    Sian has 18 years’ recruitment experience, and started her career at a specialist recruitment consultancy in 1999. She spent over 12 years with the organisation and was responsible for managing recruitment campaigns across both the public and private sectors, specialising in the recruitment of town planning professionals at all levels.

    Simon has worked in specialist management recruitment since 1986. He was previously with an international recruitment consultancy holding senior roles in the UK, Australia and Europe running and developing large scale recruitment operations as well as starting up green field sites. He has extensive experience in search at Director level, multiple hire campaigns, international resourcing campaigns and outsourcing.

    Paul is the Business Sector Director, overseeing our Freelance & Interim Business. This includes our new Timesheet portal, and other Business process initiatives, such as our Interim Executives offering and Electronic signature system. Since graduating, he has over 25 years recruitment experience, all in Construction, Property & the Built Environment.

    He is adept at senior level and executive recruitment, as well as large scale and volume campaigns.

    A Fellow of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals, Robert has worked in recruitment since 1978 and was Managing Director of the UK’s largest construction and property recruitment business for nearly 20 years. He is a Trustee of the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity, a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Constructors and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

      Hayley is a Business Director at Management Recruitment Group  and joined in 2015.

      She is responsible for our Education Commercial Services Division based in our Twickenham Office.  After spending six years at the Rugby Football Union within education development, delivering a number of high profile events, Hayley moved into recruitment in early 2013. 

      Hayley is experienced in both Interim and Permanent solutions with her particular expertise including  commercial, events & hospitality, campus and accommodation services. She has experience in delivering complex campaigns including the Head of Events and Portfolio Development at Keele University, Head of Catering at Queen Mary’s University, Head of Conferencing and Hospitality at University of London, Student Experience Manager at UCL and Events & Commercial Services Manager at Epsom College.

      Specialising solely in recruitment management consultancy at middle to senior and executive management level, Ben has successfully planned and executed recruitment campaigns across the higher education, scientific research, local and central government, NHS, public landmark attractions, charity and social housing sectors.

      Ben has developed a strong track record of working with organisations from the above sectors over the last 10 years and since joining MRG in 2008 have managed over 300 successful recruitment campaigns in these areas. He places a particular emphasis on identifying ‘industry leading’ professionals from both the private and public sectors and work to engage and attract these individuals into education, science and public sector property leadership roles.

      Ben has been a member of the MRG Management Team since 2011, a Board Director since 2014 and was appointed Deputy Managing Director from 2017.

      Michael joined MRG in early 2008 to launch a public sector division specialising within Estates and Facilities Management. He personally delivers Senior Management / Director level campaigns across all aspects of Operational FM including Campus Services, Maintenance & Engineering, Sustainability and Student Residences.

      After graduating from the University of Leicester in 1997, Michael joined an international recruitment consultancy managing the ‘non-profit’ teams and has spent his entire career within estates & facilities management.

      Bina is the Finance Manager for the Management Recruitment Group Ltd and joined the business in 2012.

      She is responsible for the firm’s finance management. Her role is to provide support to the FD on all areas of finance matters from day to day administration to the month end and year-end financial reporting tasks. 

      Bina has over 20 years of experience in Accounting and Finance management across wide range of sectors including Telecom, IT recruitment, Fire & Security, retail and Professional services.

        A Chartered Accountant, Howard has 25 years experience at plc board level including 10 years as UK Finance Director with a FTSE 250 recruitment business. He has held FD roles at a major quoted housebuilder and a leading logistics provider. With a wealth of experience in the UK recruitment market, he is an executive committee member of the Association of Recruitment Consultancies.
