For more than 50 years, Canterbury Christ Church University has been a big part of the Kent community, providing education which makes a real and positive difference to people’s lives. Inspired by our Church of England foundation, the University’s mission is to pursue excellence in higher education: transforming individuals, creating knowledge, enriching communities and building a sustainable future.
Our network of campuses and centres stretches across Kent and Medway and is a vital part of local communities. We want all students and staff to achieve their full potential, which is why we are investing significantly in new facilities and an expanding academic portfolio of Science, Technology, Engineering, Medicine and Creative Arts.
Reporting to the Vice-Chancellor, the new Director of Estates and Facilities will lead our exciting vision to transform the Canterbury Campus; opening contemporary spaces for learning, teaching and research, while celebrating the City’s rich heritage. Our £150m investment over the next 10 to 15 years will provide a campus for the 21st century which students, staff and the wider community can enjoy.
We are seeking an exceptional leader with a proven track record of developing and implementing estate and property strategies across comparable large scale, diverse and technically complex portfolios. Positive, driven and a natural collaborator, you will possess excellent communication skills and commercial acumen with the intellectual confidence to succeed in a collegial and collaborative environment.
