Commercial & Campus Support Services provides a range of facilities and services to the University community and beyond that include Catering, Cleaning Services, Conferencing & Events, Facilities Support Services, the Print & Copy Bureau, Security Services and Sport and Physical Activity.

We are seeking a highly motivated and pro-active Security Services professional to play a key role in the delivery of our strategy of providing a safe and secure environment for University staff, students and visitors. Working closely with the Security Services Manager you will be responsible for delivering a professional and customer focused service. As a key member of the Security Services team you will also be part of the Commercial and Campus Support Services providing a quality service to students, staff and members of the public.

You will lead, motivate and develop security staff to deliver an effective and efficient service in line with our strategic priorities and goals, ensuring the delivery of an efficient and cost effective service. You will also be responsible for compliance with all current legislation and best industry practices.

You will have significant experience of leading and managing staff, including managers, as well as experience of working as part of a management team. You will also have strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to work collaboratively with others and build effective working relationships.
