Reporting to the Director of Estates, the Director of Operations leads our team of c.200 staff to deliver best in class services for our campus. This is a wide-ranging role with a remit spanning all aspects of Hard and Soft FM encompassing planned/reactive maintenance and lifecycle works in addition to environmental management, energy and sustainability. You would also be responsible for the delivery of grounds, waste management and transport across our 450 acre estate (where you will be a key member of the senior leadership team).

We are seeking an exceptional leader. An intellectually confident, credible, and experienced individual with a track record of leading and managing significant resources and developing and implementing operational FM strategies across comparably large scale, diverse and technically complex portfolios. Positive, driven and a natural collaborator, you will possess the style, stature and the excellent interpersonal and communication skills required to succeed in a collegial and collaborative environment. The role will suit a proven leader and highly effective communicator who is adept at delivering ambitious change and transformation programmes, whilst ensuring a customer service ethos.
