I am currently recruiting for a Bid Manager for a leading construction company.

About the role

You will join a well-established team of passionate work winning professionals to work as part of the preconstruction team. This role will be primarily focused on opportunities delivered through large frameworks. Main duties include – submitting completed bids to existing or prospective clients, plan and manage all aspects of the bid providing subject matter expertise when required, establish bid winning strategies and writing plans for quality led bids, participate in bid writing and red reviews of prequalification documents, develop and manage bid plans, outlines and schedules, guide the bid team in preparing the technical and cost components of the proposal, review proposal, draft and final versions and ensure accuracy throughout.

About you

My client is looking for individuals from a main contracting background and experience of working on Educational, Healthcare, Leisure, Accommodation/Multiroom and Commercial schemes between £5m and £50million is an advantage. You will be degree educated or equivalent in the relevant field, and be a competent user of Microsoft packages. You will have experience of managing significant bids and other submissions to win profitable work and you will have a personal success in winning quality led bids, demonstrating an innovative and creative approach.
