Brighton College, situated in the heart of Brighton, is seeking to make the appointment of a dynamic and engaging Head of Projects to join the Estates team. You will play an active role in the delivery of refurbishments and new build projects across their diverse and expanding portfolio. Brighton College, voted United Kingdom’s “School of the Decade” by The Sunday Times, is a day and boarding all through school, educating circa 1,400 pupils from their Brighton campus in the heart of Kemptown. With an enviable portfolio of Listed and New build building across a range of asset classes, they are seeking a forwarding thinking project manager to lead the project team, delivering refurbishments and new builds typically in the range of £100k – £2.5m in value. As Head of Projects, you will work with the Senior Leadership team including the Bursar and Headmaster on the delivery and realisation of the masterplan which has a sustainability focus.

Potential candidates may already be working in a similar client-side role or may be in a consultancy environment with experience of delivering construction related projects with particular focus on Independent Schools, Hotels or high-end residential. Experience of working in a live environment often to tight deadlines is imperative. You will be a positive and collaborative team leader with excellent interpersonal skills and it is anticipated that the appointed candidate will have a professionally recognised qualification such RICS, CIOB or RIBA.
