MRG is a Senior Management Recruiter in Estates, Real Estate, Property, Facilities, Projects, and Development. The majority of our work is retained; however we are not a traditional search firm.

We want someone to take a positive and pro-active role in finding our future people.

‘Quality over Quantity’ is key here; we don’t need many, but we do need the right ones.

About the role

The MRG team are growing and we need someone to help us with this expansion; to find the right people. We are looking for someone with Industry experience, either in recruitment or real estate, facilities, projects or Business Development. You are professional, goal-driven and an advisor, someone who has the ability to work in a team and has the curiosity and creativity to find the answer. Likeability is key (we are easy to deal with, and that is because our people are likeable), as is a long-term view and a willingness to learn and discover.


We are a team of 40+ people with offices in London and Kuala Lumpur, as well as remote staff in Manchester and Birmingham.

We recruit a mix of Senior Recruiters (10 years plus in any professional services recruitment stream), some more junior staff transitioning from the agency/contingency market, Recruitment Administrators (who are closer to recruiters than administrators), Delivery Consultants in a 180 role, and the usual business support staff.

We have low turnover, with an average tenure of over 6 years, so whilst we only expect recruit about 10 staff in the UK each year, it is very important we find the right people. We are also looking for UK recruiters who will move to Malaysia/Singapore or the States to help grow our overseas footprint.

We are good at flexible working and embrace working from home, but we come together to collaborate (we always deliver assignments in two’s) to plan, talk learn and socialise. Everybody is encouraged to be part of one of our “Working Groups” – People, CSR, Marketing and Business Improvement, whose brief is to develop new ideas and strategies.

Key Accountabilities

The key areas of the brief are:

· Making candidate approaches and discussing opportunities and our culture with them.

· “Fit” testing potential candidates.

· Managing our advertising profile and message to promote our brand as a destination for experienced recruiters.

· Finding new ways to reach candidates in international markets.

· Identifying new sources of candidates, including those who may be non-cognate.

· Building Candidate ID Lists from LI and Job Boards, as a long-term source of future Consultants.

· Data management.
