The University of Law is one of the UK’s longest established specialist providers of legal education. The University can trace its origins to 1876. We were the first ever independent institution to be granted degree awarding powers, gaining university title (The University of Law) in 2012. The University was bought by Global University Systems (GUS) in 2015 and is a private University.
The University has more than 10,000 students and employs c.800 staff. The University of Law’s Estate covers 14 locations across the UK and Hong Kong with nine distinct campuses in eight UK cities. The University also has a further four satellite operations based within other University campuses across England.
Reporting to the Director of Academic Registry (with a dotted line into the Head of Conversion and Recruitment Compliance), the Student Recruitment Quality Assurance Officer will be responsible for auditing the conversion and recruitment activity carried out by the University’s external conversion and recruitment teams. This will involve reviewing call and email records and other recruitment materials against set guidelines. You will be producing monthly reports on quality and providing constructive feedback for the teams which will feed into the identification of training needs and the review and refresh of training materials
The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in auditing, report writing and have a proven track record in creating high quality written feedback and recommendations. You will ideally have strong knowledge of recruitment within higher education and the wider regulatory landscape. This role will suit individuals who enjoy working with a wide range of diverse stakeholders.
For a confidential discussion and/or the further particulars, please contact our retained advisor Sian Gardiner at sian.gardiner@mrgpeople.co.uk or alternatively on 020 8892 0115.
The Management Recruitment Group (MRG) has been exclusively retained for this campaign. All direct and third-party applications will be forwarded to MRG.
Some posts within the University are subject to a DBS check - you will be notified of this during the application process.
As an equal opportunities employer, we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons. However, as Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) individuals are currently under-represented within the University – which does not reflect our diverse student body - we would particularly welcome applications from BAME candidates. All appointments will be made on merit.
Closing date for applications is midnight on Sunday 9th February 2020.
