Closes: 09 February 2020

The University of Law is one of the UK’s longest established specialist providers of legal education. The University can trace its origins to 1876. We were the first ever independent institution to be granted degree awarding powers, gaining university title (The University of Law) in 2012. The University was bought by Global University Systems (GUS) in 2015 and is a private University.

The University has more than 10,000 students and employs c.800 staff. The University of Law’s Estate covers 14 locations across the UK and Hong Kong. Our portfolio comprises nine distinct campuses in eight UK cities. The University also has a further four satellite operations based within other University campuses across England.

Reporting to the Admissions Manager, the postholder will act as a student facing member of Admissions staff responsible for providing an efficient and high quality applicant experience to students considering the University for their studies.

The successful candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, impeccable accuracy in their work, excellent administrative skills and a passion for providing a best practise level of service to applicants. The role will suit individuals who enjoy dealing with students, are proactive and capable of taking ownership over student cases.

Admissions operate a 5 days in 7 fixed shift pattern including a variety of start/end times between the hours of 8am and 6pm to accommodate business objectives.

For a confidential discussion and/or the further particulars, please contact our retained advisor Sian Gardiner at ulaw@mrgpeople.co.uk or alternatively on 020 3962 9900.

The Management Recruitment Group (MRG) has been exclusively retained for this campaign. All direct and third-party applications will be forwarded to MRG.

Some posts within the University are subject to a DBS check - you will be notified of this during the application process.

As an equal opportunities employer, we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons. However, as Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) individuals are currently under-represented within the University – which does not reflect our diverse student body - we would particularly welcome applications from BAME candidates. All appointments will be made on merit.

Closing date for applications is midnight on Sunday 9th February 2020.
