Residential Property Management Surveyor

An opportunity has arisen for a client focussed residential property management surveyor to take on an exciting role in an illustrious development in London, comprising of high spec apartments, town houses and exquisite amenities.

Reporting to the Departmental Director, the Residential Property Management Surveyor will be expected to operate on an autonomous basis at the highest level of expertise. You will be responsible for maximising and enhancing the value of the portfolio by efficiently managing all aspects of the property for the Client.

In addition to managing one particularly high profile residential estate, the appointee will manage a number of other residential blocks for third party clients across London.

Some key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing budgets, in accordance with rent and service charge.
  • Tendering, placing and overseeing contracts.
  • Requesting and collecting monies
  • Overseeing reconciliation of expenditure at year end
  • Regular inspections of properties, insuring covenant performance by tenants.
  • Responding to on-site incidents
  • Liaison over tenant’s licenses for Alteration/Alienation/User.
  • Overseeing/carrying out decoration/rent reviews/break clauses.
  • Recruiting of caretakers/on site staff.

The ideal candidate will work within an integral management team, possessing self-motivation, enthusiasm, and the ability to communicate well with individuals at all levels.

The role is primarily London based, but you may occasionally be expected to travel within the UK to complete property inspections.
