MRG is working exclusively with a leading Property Consultancy, who are seeking a Business Improvement Manager to lead on a key client account.

Based in Central London, Montagu Evans is an independent, market leading property consultancy with strong client relationships that have spanned nearly a century. Headquartered in London with offices in Scotland and Manchester, their work encompasses planning and development, property management, specialist valuations and transactions across the United Kingdom. They are involved in some of the largest commercial, residential and mixed-use property projects in the UK today.

Forever adapting, they constantly look at innovative ways to service their clients and deliver forward thinking solutions. To that end, they are seeking a Business Improvement Manager to join their team in London, working for a key Property Management Account, to push operational efficiencies, service enhancements and quality improvements using LEAN, change and transformation techniques.

This is a London based role but will include visiting account locations across the UK.

Some of the key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Champion business processes across the account
  • Create and nurture a network of business process contacts across the Account, working across multiple delivery streams (finance, contract management & property management)
  • Oversee and support the creation of business processes for the account but to include a library of generic process maps that can be adapted to fit any public sector PM delivery during contract mobilisation and ensuring that mapping is fit for purpose and is reviewed at timely intervals.
  • Ensure that best practice is adopted across all contract locations.
  • Representing the account on all internal and external business process matters.

Person Specification:

  • Job award will be subjected to the incumbent achieving required security clearance.
  • You must hold a valid UK Driving Licence and UK Passport
  • Practitioner Membership of CQI or equivalent
  • Experience in LEAN or of using structured process improvement tools, specifically business process mapping
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Tools, including Visio.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Working with ISO 9001 (quality) and other management systems
  • Project / programme management
  • The creation and management of business process mapping
  • Auditing and Inspection
  • Desirable – Understanding/experience of Property Management/Finance systems
