Reporting to the Director of Estates Operations the Head of Projects Delivery, key responsibilities will include developing and implementing the strategic management and co-ordination of major project activities across all campuses; leading the Projects team to ensure that it provides high quality design and specification, value for money and a responsible service within agreed programmes and budgets. You will be adept in using effective and efficient project management processes; and will have overall responsibility for managing project programmes and project finances to ensure that the Projects team delivers projects within budget and programme.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in project and programme leadership roles with responsibility for planning and managing large development projects in environments with comparable character tics to those found at the University. You will have strong strategic planning and development management skills, with demonstrable relevant experience of masterplanning, business case development, feasibility and option appraisal and brief development. A strong understanding of the logistical challenges of delivering multiple projects in a 24/7 working environment is essential.
