Join a world-renowned organisation focused on improving health for everyone by helping great ideas to thrive.

We’re a global charitable foundation, both politically and financially independent. We support scientists and researchers, take on big problems, fuel imaginations, and spark debate.

Our funding supports over 14,000 people in more than 70 countries. In the next five years, we aim to spend up to £5 billion helping thousands of curious, passionate people all over the world explore ideas in science, population health, medical innovation, the humanities and social sciences and public engagement.

Reporting to the Engineering & Technical Development Manager, the M&E Project Manager will be based at our Euston Road Headquarters, the ten-storey, glass-roofed Gibbs Building and neighbouring building which houses The Wellcome Collection, our public facing Cultural Hub. You will be responsible for all M&E project deliveries across all aspects of mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP/M&E). You will manage all projects from inception to completion (many of which have a focus on energy & environment) including all tender activities through to on-site project management and will identify building related innovations, develop technical strategies and methods for continuous improvement to maximise value and quality.

The successful candidate will be qualified in a M&E related discipline and ideally with a recognised project management qualification. You will possess substantial experience in a comparable diverse live environment with strong project management expertise including budget and programme management. The role will suit an innovative and forward thinking individual who can operate in a collaborative and collegial manner within a complex stakeholder environment.
