Prospect House School is an Independent Preparatory School, it began life as a nursery in Barnes in the 1960s, before converting to a co-educational preparatory school and is now situated across 2 sites in the heart of Putney. Based at the Upper School, just off Putney Hill, Prospect House School is looking for an enthusiastic and pragmatic Head of Finance & Operations to join the leadership team.

The incoming individual will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the school finances including producing termly fee invoices, chasing outstanding fees as well as dealing with parent and supplier queries. In addition, you will play an active role in reviewing and updating processes and working with the Head to review and manage compliance as well as producing financial reports and assisting senior executives in making sound business decisions in the long and short-term.

Ideally you will have experience in a school or educational finance function. You will hold an accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

Good interpersonal skills are essential, and you will have the ability to engage with Pupils, Parents and your colleagues alike, whilst having a flexible approach being prepared to muck in and assist in the day-to-day activities of the school when required.
