Reporting to the Head of Engineering, Energy and Environment, the BEMS Engineer will ensure that the Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) and associated infrastructure deliver the most efficient, effective and technically competent service and solutions in order to meet University requirements now and in the future. The postholder will take a lead role in the management of the BEMS Software and Hardware and the leadership and management of the BEMS maintenance contract.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in the management of the maintenance of controls systems across a large scale portfolio, preferably having managed external contractors in the maintenance of Building Energy Management Systems. You will have an excellent understanding of mechanical and electrical building services, control applications and BSRIA and CIBSE industry guidelines.
