London South Bank University (LSBU) is one of London's largest and oldest universities with over 23,000 students and 2,000 staff. Since 1892, the University has been providing vocationally-relevant, accredited and professionally recognised education. The University has a large and diverse Central London estate portfolio with over 20 buildings totalling 120,000m2 in size. LSBU has invested heavily in the development of the University estate over the last decade and has ambitious development plans for the future.

LSBU is committed to a major programme of capital expenditure to rationalise and develop its property portfolio to provide an optimum physical environment for academic activities. Reporting to the Head of Technical Services, the Project Delivery Manager is responsible for acting in the role project manager and contract administrator for all allocated University minor works projects. You will have the ability to prepare and implement risk assessments with great knowledge of MS Office and MS Project.

You will have the ability to prepare briefs, design schemes, prepare specifications and run projects from an in-house team or with outside contractors. Working knowledge and understanding of the application of the DDA Regulations, Health & Safety law, Building Control and all forms of Contract Law applicable to the Construction Industry is essential.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential, you will be required to lead and inspire internal (two PMs) and external teams as well as gain the confidence of stakeholders both inside and outside of the University. The successful candidate will ideally be a full member of the RICS with substantial experience in survey reports and methodology of conducting building condition surveys.
