We are supporting a market leader in the Construction industry in the search for an Bid Manager to be based out of their new regional office in Surrey.
This is a family owned contractor with no external stakeholders that is expanding massively within both the Construction and Civil Engineering sectors and in particular - within Education and or Healthcare. You will work closely with both the pre-construction director and the Business Development Manager in order to create exceptional Bids - managing the process from conception through to Client handover, therefore previous client facing interaction is ideal. Utilising the Estimating and Pre-Construction teams, you will write bid content from scratch and formulate strategic bid-win plans. Additionally, you will play an integral part in maintaining internal and external relationships. The successful candidate will have a very high standard of written English and be highly versed using InDesign and the relevant Microsoft packages. Ideally, you would have come from a Project / Design Management or Planning background and be commercially astute. The business will also consider someone with a strong - and proven track record in Bid Management, who has the experience of working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Main Contractor.
