Founded in 1963, the University of East Anglia (UEA) is an internationally renowned University based on a campus that provides top quality academic, social and cultural facilities to over 16,872 students. A leading UK University, UEA is currently ranked 22nd in the UK by the Complete University Guide and features in the top 200 of World Universities (Times Higher Education World Rankings 2022). The University was recently ranked as one of the top 50 employers to work for in the UK.

UEA is a Campus-based University on the edge of a beautiful, historic city and the Estates and Facilities Division is proud to be able to make a beneficial contribution to the University’s vision by managing, developing and creating a Campus that makes a positive impact on the living and learning experience for students and staff. To prepare for the University’s growth in student numbers we are embarking upon an exciting period of new development and modernisation of the campus.

Reporting to the Head of Estates Strategy & Delivery the post holder will lead, develop and maintain a sustainable Engineering and Infrastructure plan to support the UEA’s built assets (buildings, plant & infrastructure) maximising a compliant, reliable, efficient function aligned to industry best practice and enacted in collaboration with the Maintenance, Projects and Sustainability, Utilities and Engineering delivery functions.
