The mission of our Estates and Capital Developments team is to deliver and maintain a sustainable campus that enhances the student experience. To support this, we are seeking an ambitious individual to play a key role in the management of Aston University's physical space, ensuring efficiency and improving utilisation.
The Space Manager will lead the Space Planning Team and be responsible for the planning and utilisation of the University’s accommodation via consultation and negotiation with departments in respect of their current and future space needs.
The role holder will also be responsible for teaching space design and will contribute to the development of the strategic space plans. You will oversee the submission of statistical returns, the management of the building floor plans and space database.
We are seeking a professional with track record of leading space and workplace management across a large scale, diverse multi-building estate portfolio. You will have strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to develop space management strategies and polices to support an organisation’s overall strategies.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential as you will be required to work at a senior level to influence stakeholders across the organisation.
