A Site Manager with extensive experience of Timber Frame Housing is required to manage a scheme of over 130 units in near Colchester, Essex.

You will have 5 – 10 years experience in the role of Site Manager running Housing schemes of up to 100 units and will have demonstrable experience of delivering Timber Frame developments.

The Role:

As Site Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of 142 Timber Frame Housing units. You will lead a team including Site Manager, Assistant Site Manager and Finishing Foreman at the final stages of the project.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Produce detailed programmes of works set out by the Construction Director.
  • Manage resources of the project to maximise output and deliver to programme.
  • Control subcontract packages.
  • Health & safety management and promotion in line with the company policies and procedures.
  • Regularly review with the team progress against programme.
  • Chair subcontractor site progress meetings.
  • Create and maintain accurate site reports.
  • Quality inspections.

About You:

  • You will have gained 5 – 10 years years experience working for a recognised House Builder on Timber Frame and Traditional Build schemes.
  • Have a valid Management CSCS Card, SMSTS and First Aid as a minimum
  • Good level of IT literacy in Microsoft Office packages.
  • Working knowledge of Asta Power Projects and document control software.
