A regional House Builder is seeking a Site Manager professional with a proven background in Passivhaus construction to deliver a development of 50 units in Harlow, Essex.

Passivhaus buildings provide a high level of occupant comfort while using very little energy for heating and cooling. They are built with meticulous attention to detail and rigorous design and construction according to principles developed by the Passivhaus Institute in Germany and can be certified through an exacting quality assurance process.

If you are an experienced Site Manager with a proven track record in Passivhaus construction, then our client would be interested in speaking with you.

You will have:

  • Comprehensive site management experience ensuring that all site functions are carried out efficiently, safely and in accordance with the contract/programme.
  • Liaise and co-ordinate with both internal departments and external parties including Local Authority, client etc.
  • Oversee and direct site operatives, sub-contractors and service companies to ensure the highest quality of work is achieved.
  • Keep and maintain all required Site Registers / documents including photographic records.
  • Monitor work on site and ensure this is completed on programme, recording delays and providing solutions for time lost.
  • Report and address any design and/or building issues encountered. Advise immediately of detrimental impact to quality, programme or budget.

On offer is a basic salary of between £60,000 - £65,000 per annum, company car/allowance, pension, healthcare, 26 days annual leave and usual company benefits.
