The Management Recruitment Group has been retained by a leading University to make the appointment of a Senior Project Manager.
The Senior Project Manager will develop, procure, manage and deliver a broad range of projects including complex refurbishments and large scale development schemes (with several schemes valued between £10m and £50m) across technically complex buildings including academic facilities, student accommodation, commercial space and social space. The organisation has a comprehensive estates strategy valued at over £100m and you will therefore gain exposure to a very diverse range of projects including schemes in excess of £50m in value.
The successful candidate will possess relevant experience in a project leadership role with responsibility for procuring and managing complex capital projects in excess of £10m in value in a client side or client’s consultant role. You will have strong commercial management skills, with the proven track record of managing project budgets and excellent contract procurement and supply chain management abilities.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the credibility and authority to lead and manage stakeholder groups and project teams. It is anticipated that you will hold a relevant professional qualification.
