A leading global Consultancy is seeking to appoint a Senior Project Manager to deliver construction projects on behalf of their Higher Education team.

Our client, a leading Consultancy providing project management, cost consultancy and associated specialist consultancy services to private and public sector clients all over the world. They deliver a comprehensive range of construction consulting expertise, providing services that focus on reducing client risk, improving value and assuring outcomes on projects in all market sectors of the built, social and natural environments.

Working within the Higher Education Project Management team, your clients will include leading Higher Education Institutions in London and the surrounding regions. Projects may include refurbishment, adaptation or new build across a diverse property portfolio including academic, laboratories, student residences or commercial space. You will work closely with the Associates and Directors to take the projects from inception through to completion, responsibilities will include managing the design teams, contract administration and of course delivery of the project.

The suitable candidate will have prior project management experience preferably from a consultancy environment focused on delivering projects into the Higher Education environment, although an individual with client side experience such as local government, EFA, Healthcare or a University may be considered. You will have a proven track record of delivering medium to large schemes ranging from £10m to £100m. You will possess strong communication skills both verbally and written and have the ability to liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

It is expected that you will be degree educated in relevant subject such as Construction Project Management, Building Surveying or Quantity Surveying and possess or be keen to achieve Chartered status.
