We are working with one of the UK’s leading, and most progressive Real Estate Consultancies who are seeking a Senior Director to play an integral role in the Development Consultancy team whilst managing key clients and growing your client base.

The Development Consultancy team undertakes a diverse range of work including development consultancy, financial viability, development land agency, estate rationalisation, regeneration advice, valuations and CPO. The role requires business generation, leadership, management of junior team members, project delivery experience, and a demonstrable track record of fee generation.

Some of the key responsibilities required across both roles will include:

  • Act as Account Manager for nominated local and national clients, primarily in the public sector but not exclusively;
  • Identify and lead bids/ tenders for new business, and to retain and expand existing client base;
  • Pursue business generation and marketing initiatives, and coordinate the input of others in the wider business to secure new business;

  • To play an important part in developing and leading the Development Consultancy team;
  • To lead, oversee and deliver projects to clients, ensuring quality of output and timely reporting;
  • To lead complex, multidisciplinary and strategically important assignments, delegating where possible to others in the team;
  • To deliver often complex written reports or presentations to clients with clarity and authority;
  • To ensure effective standards of performance are achieved through supervision;
  • To transfer skills and expertise to others in the team, mentoring junior members;
  • To generate fee income and cross-referrals into the wider business, and to meet annual financial targets.

  • You are somebody who has a solid track record within London residential/mixed-use development consultancy with a broad cross-section of clients, with extensive experience in dealing with public sector property assets.
  • You should be able to demonstrate sound knowledge of the occupier and land markets in the London/South east residential sector, with a wider knowledge of rents and yields in diverse commercial sectors.
  • You are motivated, ambitious, committed to self development. You are someone who is able to delegate and plan, using resources efficiently in order to accomplish a task or project.
  • You are a team player, able to motivate, drive and inspire others to reach a common goal. You are able to communicate effectively, conveying ideas and opinions succinctly. You can persuade and influence others; getting people on board with ideas in order to go in a specific direction.
  • You practice technical excellence, clued up with up to date knowledge, with the ability to share this information clearly and concisely with others where needed.
