My client, a market leading facilities service provider is looking for a Bid Writer / Manager to join their team in Birmingham. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team and work on national bidding opportunities within the FM sector.

About the role

Working within a small team, you will be responsible for creating award winning bids for various sized FM contracts. You will manage the full bid process for assigned bids and be responsible for writing all of the content. You will also get involved with the research, design, collation and submission of the bids although your main focus will be on the content / writing side. You will work closely with SME’s to ensure you are providing a first class response to all questions. As with most bid roles, project management is key so strong organisational and timekeeping skills are essential.

About you

My client is looking for an experienced bid writer who has a facilities / hard services background. You must be a passionate writer who thrives in a high pressured environment and is interested in taking on a content heavy role. Previous experience working on InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator would be an advantage however this isn’t essential. You will ideally be educated to degree level in English, History, Journalism or a similar writing biased subject. You must also be confident managing a bid from concept through to completion.
