The Management Recruitment Group has been retained by a notable University based in the West Midlands to source an Interim Senior Project Managers (Capital Works) paying £260 - £300 PAYE per day + Holiday Pay.

Reporting to the Director of Estates, the Senior Project Manager will develop, procure, manage and deliver a broad range of projects including complex refurbishments and large scale development schemes (with several schemes valued between £1m and £20m) across technically complex buildings including health, research, academic facilities, student accommodation, commercial space and social space.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing small to medium scale, technically complex projects in a client side or client’s consultant role (ideally within healthcare/hospitals, although not essential). Applicants will have excellent stakeholder management skills, with a proactive and collaborative communication style. Strong technical skills are essential as it is expected that candidates will be adept at managing all stages of the project lifecycle from briefing and design development through to procurement and construction delivery.
