The Management Recruitment Group has been retained by a Midlands based university to recruit an Interim Project Manager for a minimum of 3 months paying £180 - £200 per day + holiday pay

The successful candidate will have responsibility for multiple small/minor projects consisting of refurbishment and alterations. Key responsibilities will include stakeholder engagement and feasibility appraisal, as well as project management of schemes ranging in value from £10k - £100k.

You will have proven experience in small/minor works project management roles, probably in a ‘client side’ or ‘client’s consultant’ Project Manager or Building Surveyor capacity with responsibility for managing projects from £10k - £100k in value. You will have strong stakeholder engagement abilities and interpersonal skills, with a customer focused approach.

This is very much a hands on role and as such, it is expected that the successful candidate will possess a relevant built environment qualification as well as having experience of JCT Minor Works form of contract.

This position has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
