About the client

On behalf of our client, a private sector project and cost consultancy, Interim Executives are currently recruiting for an Interim Project Director take on a 6-month contract. Based in Central London, the Project Director will be responsible for the delivery of a new build project with a Higher Education client, now at RIBA stage 5 (CAT-B fit out).

Background

Our client has reached a pinch-point with other projects coming online and they require additional resource to help deliver this project on time. This is a CAT B fit out for the tenant and the project will reach practical completion and handover in 2021. The fit-out is valued at circa £40m and will house academic and office space.

Candidate Requirements

As an experienced Construction Project Director, you will have previously led and successfully delivered high profile cut and carve, fit out or base build schemes on projects of a similar size and complexity. Our client requires that ideally, this interim post will lead both on the construction delivery, but also be responsible for driving the design team to meet tight deadlines and maintain the overall programme timeline.
