About the client

On behalf of our client, a non-profit organisation based in Bristol, MRG are seeking an Interim Estates Surveyor to take on a 3 to 6-month contract while a permanent postholder is appointed. With a geographic spread across South West England, this suburban and rural portfolio consists of commercial properties as well as a small investment portfolio.

About the job

The main responsibilities of the Interim Estates Surveyor will be ensuring all third-party occupied properties are properly recorded and documented by way of lease, license or agreement. You will be involved in rent renewals, lease negotiations and general landlord and tenant work. You will also be responsible for inspections, commissioning surveys and works, acquisitions and disposals, disputes, property compliance and instructing external consultants and contractors.

About you

As an experienced surveyor and property professional, you will have a strong background in public sector estate management with general practice experience. You will be comfortable with both commercial and residential lettings, property management, development and construction. While note a requirement of the role, the preference will be for candidates to hold MRICS status.

Campaign timeline

The interim search campaign is live from Tuesday 27th October 2020 and applications are welcomed until a successful candidate is appointed. An immediate start following two rounds of interviews will be expected.
