The Management Recruitment Group has been retained by a notable London based University to source a Head of Estates Projects on a 6 month fixed term contract paying c.£65k per annum + excellent benefits.

Reporting to the Director of Estates, the Head of Estates Projects will develop, procure, manage and deliver a broad range of projects including minor refurbishments schemes (with several schemes valued between £0.25m and £5m) as well as Space, Churn and Moves Projects across technically complex buildings including academic facilities, student accommodation, commercial space and social space.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing small to medium scale, technically complex projects in a client side or client’s consultant role.

Applicants will have excellent stakeholder management skills, with a proactive and collaborative communication style. Strong technical skills are essential as it is expected that candidates will be adept at managing all stages of the project lifecycle from briefing and design development through to procurement and construction delivery.

The role attracts a salary of c.£65k per annum plus an excellent benefits package including generous annual leave (42 days inclusive of public holidays and closure days) and generous pension scheme.
