An experienced Finishing Foreman is required by a key client of ours to work alongside a Project Manager on a development of 122 RC Frame apartments in Abbey Wood, South East London.

Our client is a leader in the new build Affordable Housing sector, with an envious client base and projects ranging from £10m up to £55m in value.

Focusing on London and the south east our client has over 30 years’ experience delivering new build affordable housing schemes for well-known local authorities and Housing Associations.

About the role:

Key to the successful completion of the scheme, overseeing the quality of finishes and full management of the snagging for apartment as well communal areas.

Carrying out quality control inspections from 1st fix stage until completion of all applicable trades such as carpentry, M&E, plastering, ceramic tiling, floor covering, painting and decorations.

Responsible for inspecting the quality of work at all stages of construction and ensure that all persons/materials are capable of achieving the required standards and to specified work progress schedule.

Responsible for coordination and supervision of all trade teams to ensure smooth and work activities to achieve the best quality of each unit.

About you:

You will have honed your skills on Residential Development or Contracting projects, focusing on the internal elements of a project. Possibly coming from a trade background, you will have experience of large scale, fast paced sites with the ability to manage various tasks at any one time.

You will / be:

  • IT Literate
  • Skilled in managing multiple trades.
  • Have a good understanding of all finishing trades.
  • Have a good understanding of gas, Electrics and pipework and heating systems.
  • Experience of Studwork and blockwork partitioning.
  • Have CSCS Card, SMSTS and First Aid as a minimum.
