Are you a senior Real Estate Professional with a passion for delivering great customer service for your clients? Are you a real estate professional who has managed client portfolios in a different way, in order to drive new levels of value to your customers?

MRG are working with one of the top key players in the Real Estate industry who are seeking an individual for this brand-new and exciting role, positioned to manage an important client Portfolio in a customer-centric way. Recognising that the nature of property use is moving from the corporate to the customer, the Client has a desire to innovate the environments in which their customers work and live towards service-led excellence.

As the Director for the Client business, you will be responsible for around 300 properties within this UK wide, predominantly London based portfolio, which includes large-scale Industrial, Office and Retail properties. You will be overseeing the design, development and then subsequent strategic oversight and service delivery of these assets, and you will act as the main point of contact between the Real Estate organisation and the client, leading the transformation of the Client business. You will work collaboratively to implement new programs and systems to improve both the client experience and their customer occupier experience, in line with the client’s values.

Not only will you be responsible for the P&L performance of the business, but you will also head up the commercial strategy and development of the business through sales, client success and targeted initiatives to drive business growth.

An ambassador for the company brand, you will be someone who has several years’ experience improving and spearheading the customer experience for a multi-faceted, global brand, ideally in the Real Estate sector. Working closely with the Asset Services team, your key objective is to deliver the vision for the client business by delivering high levels of client service and customer occupier service across the brand, generating excitement about the Services that the company offers and injecting enthusiasm and engagement into every aspect of the role.

Key requirements for the role

  • Demonstrable leadership and people management experience, driving team performance both direct reports and across wider teams
  • Track record of leading projects in a customer centric way to deliver seamless client services
  • Business development and client relationship management experience
  • Experience in networking and building relationships internally and externally
  • Experience in lead client contact positions, conducting pitches and presentations
  • Experience with complex stakeholder management
  • Experience in driving change
  • In-depth knowledge of the real estate industry sector
  • Complex P&L Management
  • Financial acumen and budget management
  • High level business and report writing experience
  • In-depth knowledge of current legislation and case law relevant to role

You will ultimately be responsible for setting a new standard for service and client and customer experience in the Real Estate sector.

For the right individual this role pays a salary of up to £120,000 PA, a discretionary bonus and benefits package.
