We are looking for a Principal Consultant or Practice Manager to join our Real Estate Division reporting to Matthew Evans, Director.
MRG are a specialist management recruitment business working across all disciplines in the Built Environment. We have an established team operating in the Real Estate and Client Side Advisory sectors. This desk forms part of our strategic plan to expand our services utilising our current contact base and selectively winning new accounts.
We are looking for a Principal Consultant or Practice Manager who will work with the Director to deliver retained assignments for existing clients in Real Estate Advisory, Project and Cost Management and Development and open new client accounts with private sector corporate organisations.
The post reports directly to Matthew Evans –Director Real Estate & Property.
Bio: After securing a rugby scholarship at Brighton College (where he played for Harlequins) Matthew went on to study at Reading University. He started his recruitment career with Burns Carlton where he quickly progressed from Consultant to the Head of Real Estate Practice. In 2009 he joined Holtby Turner, an established Real Estate Search business, as a Principal (Director), focused on Real Estate Advisory. Keen to provide his clients with a broader range of services in a more entrepreneurial environment Matthew joined MRG in 2014 as Business Sector Director to lead the Real Estate and property team. He was promoted to Director in January 2017 and joined the Board. He has unique client contacts at Director Level with many of the UK’s market leaders.
We specialise in Senior Appointments in the £50,000 - £100,000 salary bracket across the Built Environment. Our philosophy is simple; we aim to offer exceptional service by finding the best possible candidates (active or passive through headhunting) in the shortest period of time. Our success is built on the expertise and contacts of our Senior Consultants and Managers. They know the market and have good contacts in senior roles across their industry.

Average sector recruitment experience across our Sector Directors (who are also fee earners) is 12 years +. This has created a “grown up” environment where there is a lot of support and expertise on hand, where people are ready and willing to help to make the business successful.

·The ability to hit the ground running and capable of designing and executing a Business Plan and with the credibility to delivery Search assignments at salary levels from £80,000 to £120,000.
