Business Information Analyst

Delivering world-class digital services, skills and capabilities is an integral part of the University of Law’s ambitious strategy. Over the next two years, IT will transform our digital landscape, replacing legacy solutions and implementing innovative new technologies and the IT Projects and Change teams play a critical role in this.

As Business Information Analyst you will be responsible for the reporting and data aspects of University’s Projects and Change Requests and will work closely with the Registry department ensuring that the differing reporting requirements of the University of Law regulators (e.g HESA, OfS, SRA, BSB) are met. In addition, you will support business departments by providing knowledge and insight into data held on University of Law systems and by designing data reports and reporting tools to help business executives in their decision making.

The successful candidate will have gained substantial experience within a similar data reporting role and be adept at producing easy to understand data visualisations using BI tools. You will have demonstrable experience of designing and creating business reports and of database design and will possess advanced SQL skills. The ability to be organised and methodical with high levels of numeracy and a solid understanding of statistics is essential, as is a high standard of communication skills with the ability to be a positive influence and a solid team player.
