I am currently recruiting for a Bid Writer for a growing software company.

About the role

· Create, edit and re-write responses from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, marketing, development and finance

· Ensure win themes are articulated in such a way to meet / exceed the client’s requirements

· Deliver high quality, completed written bid responses to the Bid Manager against agreed deadlines, escalating issues as required

· Proactively develop and manage a network of subject matter experts

· Identify and re-work existing pre-written content where relevant

· Ability to coach SME teams in writing best practice

· Excellent time management / prioritisation skills

· Attention to detail and meticulous proof-reading skills

About you

My client is looking for a Bid Writer who has a minimum of 2 years’ experience. They are open to any sector / service background however you must have previous experience bidding into the public sector. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to create content from scratch as well as edit / rework technical content.

My client is based in Wakefield and is open to remote working with occasional travel, hybrid or office working. Salary is dependent on experience.
