I am currently recruiting for an experienced Bid professional to join a growing company within the Healthcare Sector.

About the role

Although the job title is Bid Writer, this role is much more than just writing. My client is currently creating a dedicated bidding function for their thriving business and would like to take on 2 bid professionals who can come in and help to shape and develop the bid function / process. Main duties include – organising kick off meetings, coordinating all bid related activities from commencement to delivery, managing the contracts inbox and various bid portals, managing lines of communication between various stakeholders, ensuring that clarification questions are posted in good time, engaging with subject matter experts to create technical content, setting up, populating, updating and publishing the bid tracker, ensuring coordinated centralised management of templates and bid content, formatting content into templates, coordinating any graphic design requirements, keeping accurate historic bid records, breaking down questions into their component parts and creating responses that exceed customer expectations, interpreting subject matter experts content and conveying in it a compelling manner and proofreading and editing content written by other team members.

About you

You will be an experienced Bid Writer / Coordinator, ideally with a degree in English, Marketing, Journalism, History, Arts or similar. You mush have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a contemporary writing style and the ability to tailor content to meet client requirements. Public sector bidding experience would be a huge benefit, and healthcare experience is essential. You must be a competent user of Microsoft Office and be able to work in a busy environment, managing multiple deadlines.
