My client, a leading facilities service provider is looking for a Junior Bid Writer to join their team in Watford. This is a great opportunity for a junior writer to join a business that will provide first class training with ongoing support and development to progress you to the next level of your career.
About the role
With the support of the team, your knowledge of the bid process will be developed from start to finish focusing on bid content, PQQ’s, Proposals and tender documentation. You will be exposed to the research, design, collation and submission aspects of the bidding process and trained in each area. As with most bid roles, strong project management skills are key to a successful bid so timekeeping and organisational skills are essential.
My client is looking for a degree educated, passionate writer who is eager to develop their career within bids. Holding a degree within Journalism / English Literature or something writing orientated would be a huge advantage. Applicants must be flexible with working hours as working in this role may involve long hours to meet tight deadlines. You must have previous experience in a writing based role and experience working on InDesign would be a huge advantage.
