A Leading Engineering and Contracting business are seeking experienced Bid Writers to join the work winning team. You will have previously written bids within the built environment and be a competent and articulate words smith that can translate technical content into a client friendly and concise prose.
Your key responsibilities will be to act as the main go between for all the bid content within your division and analyse tender documents and understand all client requirements and expectations. You will work closely with the bid managers on various projects simultaneously and thus have the ability to prioritise and work methodically.
As part of your role you will also be required to coach and mentor site resources to provide technical and quality text for all submissions, as well as produce story boards and delegate sections of work to supply chain partners when necessary.
Excellent IT knowledge will be required and a degree or the professional equivalent will be highly desirable. You won’t necessarily have come from a technical background, it is more about the ability to communicate efficiently using the English language and of course general communication skills to liaise at all levels within the business.
