Bid Manager (initially 14 month FTC)

The Opportunity Management Team is a global function that partners with sales teams to deliver wow moments for our customers. We deliver an end-to-end bid and proposal management service that leverages global insights and best practices to support all forms of large-scale pursuits.

As a Bid Manager, you will partner with senior sales leads to provide challenge, insight and direction, as well as to produce high-quality, critical sales documents. Your main focus will be to support large opportunities for the UK business, and from time to time across EMEA, across all areas of the businesses solution mix.

The role

As our Bid Manager, you will

  • Project-manage high value and often global opportunities through the discovery, proposal development, presentation, and follow-up sales processes
  • Collaborate with teams in the location of the opportunity as well as globally
  • Take responsibility for managing project timelines, ensuring that key milestones are met
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the marketing team to develop, standardize and update new sales messaging and collateral
  • Partner with the wider organization on special projects and transformational activities

Required Experience/Characteristics

  • Solid recent experience as a professional bid manager including direct responsibility for the end to end bid management of opportunities, including writing and preparation of materials and preparing teams for pitch
  • First class writing and editing skills
  • Proven design skills including PowerPoint
