A leading civil contractor is looking for an experienced Bid Manager to join their successful team in their Berkshire office. You will be responsible for the management of bids, liaising closely with senior management to maximise business opportunities and delivery of projects. The Bid Manager will work with the Head of Bids, in developing effective bid strategies and solutions to support strategic bidding and business opportunities. Lead and direct the junior bid management and proposal teams, allocating resources to support bidding activities. Provide bid management support in developing written solutions and review submissions provided by others. Review process to ensure the team is working to capacity.
This role would suit a hands on Bid manager who enjoys improving policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the bid process. Preferably, you will come from a large contractor involved in major civil projects but other technical built environment related industries would also be considered. You will also be someone who takes great pride in their work and producing winning bids for the UK largest and most innovative future projects.
