A Bid Manager is required to join a tier one contractor, to be based out of their Surrey offices. The company is a family ran business that operates within the transport, education, and infrastructure sectors .
The appointment has come about due to rapid growth within their construction division. You will be expected as a bid manager to manage the process from conception through to client handover, utilising the estimating and pre-construction teams. A key element of the job will be writing bid content from scratch and formulating strategic bid-win plans. Additionally, you will play an integral part in maintaining internal and external relationships, including stakeholder interaction.
The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal English and be highly versed in using InDesign. Ideally, your previous work experience will be in Project / Design Management or from a planning background and be commercially astute. The business will also consider someone with a strong - and proven track record in bid management, who has the experience of working for a Tier One or Tier Two main contractor.
