I am currently seeking a Bid Manager for a 12 month FTC. This role is working for a leading law firm and can be based out of any of their offices (Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Birmingham, Glasgow, London, Bristol). They operate a hybrid working model.

About the role

Working as part of a well-established, high performing team, you will be responsible for – planning and managing bids from outset to closure, project management of the complete tender process including strategy, design, drafting, reviewing and producing, qualifying all new opportunities, developing win themes, working with the wider business to pull together the relevant information for bids, completing win / loss reviews, attending weekly team meetings to assess and review pipeline opportunities, overseeing the overall progress of bids, undertaking pre-pitch client research and acting as an advisor on pitches to support new business wins.

About you

You will be an experienced bid manager who has previously worked in a legal / professional services environment, managing bids from end to end. You will have a proven track record of delivering and winning bids and be comfortable managing multiple deadlines at any one time. It’s essential that you have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to influence and negotiate effectively. Ideally you will be degree qualified and be confident using all the relevant Microsoft packages.
