The successful candidate will assist in the preparation of tender proposal and pre-qualification documentation for the Estimating & Pre-Construction team; duties will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Producing creative and innovative designs across all pitches, taking sole responsibility for projects assigned by their line manager.
  • Liaising with the bid managers obtaining, preparing and completing all sections of the document with 100% accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ensuring all documentation is 100% correct; proof read, spell checked and consistent, in standard company format, as approved by the Head of Creative Design.
  • Ensuring pre-qualification questionnaires are completed on time, and worked on to the bid designer’s own initiative as much as possible, gaining assistance from appropriate members of the company where appropriate.
  • Excellent time management across all workload.
  • Ensuring 100% record of meeting deadlines, without fail.
  • Actively liaising with the bid managers to agree the content for tender interview/presentation documents and be actively involved in their preparation ensuring that draft documentation is prepared prior to the dry run/rehearsal.
  • Liaising frequently with all other team members involved with the pre-construction process ensuring that individuals are up-to-date with progression submission proposals and workload.
  • Assist with maintaining all libraries kept within bid design.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the personal qualities, values and attitudes which are so important to the business and to the role:

  • You must possess good InDesign skills; other Creative Cloud applications highly recommended also.
  • You must possess a positive attitude and a passion for innovation and change combined with the ability to demonstrate the resilience to implement innovative ideas.
  • A desire for self-development is valuable as is the ability to encourage on-going development in others.
  • You will also be a strong, proactive team player with the ability to multi-task and prioritise whilst showing support, encouragement and excellent organisational skills to ensure that deadlines are adhered to.
  • You must demonstrate great attention to detail with excellence in written communication to ensure the highest possible standards of grammar and accuracy are achieved always and IT skills including Word, Outlook and Excel as a minimum.
