I am currently recruiting for a Bid Coordinator / Junior Bid Writer for a leading manufacturer and maintainer of hospital equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit innovative and compliant bids to win new business opportunities
  • Collating information from all areas of the business in order to submit professional, comprehensive, and winning bids
  • Responding to day to day enquiries from internal/external teams and, where appropriate, timely communication with customers and framework organisations
  • Identifying and applying for tendering opportunities and mini competitions
  • Coordination, preparation and completion of tenders to specified deadlines through all stages of the process
  • Ensure requirements for tender are understood and communicated to the relevant teams for appropriate action
  • Ensure information requests and clarifications are sent out in a timely, accurate manner and followed up where necessary to ensure relevant information is available
  • Ensure Tenders/PQQ, RFQ, RFI, RTP and Mini Competitions are completed to specified deadlines
  • Communication with customers during and following the tender process where required
  • Ensuring all clarification requests are responded to within the defined timescale
  • Requesting and disseminating tender debrief information
  • Tender Library – maintenance/update to content with up to date information
  • Framework agreement administration including communication internally and new product additions (liaising with framework point of contact and updating internal teams on confirmation)

Key Skills Required

· Degree educated (writing focused – English, Creative Writing, Journalism etc) with some experience writing in a corporate environment or 6 months+ experience in a bid role

· Public sector bidding experience preferred

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Creative writing skills

· Excellent time management and project management skills

· The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at any one time

Additional Information

· Salary up to £30,000

· Remote working with travel to Halifax once per week (maximum)
